Relocation and Construction of Krio Krush’s purpose-built manufacturing facility

JDV Projects delivered the relocation and construction of Krio Krush’s purpose-built manufacturing facility in Kingsgrove under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) model. The new plant marks a major step forward in production capacity and technical performance for one of Australia’s leading bespoke seasoning manufacturers.
The facility integrates climate-controlled mechanical systems, pressure-controlled blending zones and strict allergen separation to ensure HACCP compliance and protect ingredient integrity. Designed in collaboration with chefs, food technologists and specialist process engineers, the layout enables efficient material flow and operational precision.
Flexibility was central to the brief. The plant accommodates both small-batch, chef-driven blends and high-volume retail production, with infrastructure in place for future automation. Innovative UV-resistant, resealable packaging was incorporated to enhance shelf life and the consumer experience.
Delivered to support a seamless operational transition, the facility now anchors Krio Krush’s national distribution network, thereby strengthening production resilience and long-term growth capacity.
