It’s important in the first meeting to learn about the client’s business, assess their needs, agree a process and map out the steps in the journey – a new work place can be a catalyst for introducing process change or improvements within a business.

Prepare a space matrix/analysis, identifying the forecast gross floor area requirements and Prepare an overarching project brief/statement.

JDV will work with you, if necessary, to find the site, then assess the short listed spaces for suitability and performance. Prepare a test fit to ensure the proposed location can satisfy the project brief. A high-level cost plan/budget objectives would also be considered at that time.

JDV Projects will produce a comprehensive sketch or preliminary planning concepts to match your vision and needs, focusing on workspace organisation while exploring new ideas and fresh concepts in work practices and space planning that respond to your business activity and interaction between staff and teams.

Prepare a detailed preliminary cost plan, using historical data, which is jointly reviewed with the client to ensure it meets the budget objectives whilst being realistically achievable – this provides a road map to the project’s financial management and control against which future design and specification decisions can be made.

Implement a strategic approach to incorporate and evaluate the ‘must-have’ versus the ‘like-to-have’ elements and features and discuss technology options and the most recent improvements and trends available for the clients project.

Develop a number of design options that will give the biggest WOW for the best outlay. (Handing over an office you can be proud of does not have to cost the earth!)

Present designs using 3D modelling so clients can see first-hand what the working environment will look like – whether it be the latest in staff breakout facilities, office décor, internal living green walls or contemporary reception designs, an image board for discussion about the look and feel of the new workspace will also be produced.

All Statutory Approvals, which can be very boring are necessary – leave it to us, we know what to do and we have been doing it for a long time.

When it comes to construction, the partnership between our Project Managers and Site Manager is exemplary, communication between then and you is key priority.

Handover is always the most exciting time for us – we are given the opportunity to hand you the keys to your new environment, one that both you and we at JDV Projects are proud of.

Relocation should be equally as trouble free. We plan to have you and your teams sitting in your new environment with as little fuss as possible…it almost feels like you’ve always been there!

A full detailed list of maintenance and warranty details will be available on handover, ensuring all training and warranties are in place.

JDV Projects and the team will still be there for you after handover and will work with you over the coming months to ensure everything works as it should.
