Tech Mahindra, a global leader spanning technology, automotive, aerospace, and communications, engaged JDV Projects to undertake their North Sydney workplace refurbishment—marking their second collaboration.
JDV Projects delivered a contemporary, functional workspace that reflects Tech Mahindra’s values and global identity. Starting with a basic floor plan and established concept design, JDV collaborated with stakeholders to reimagine a 450sqm open floor area into a dynamic space. Key features included office accommodation for the Asia-Pacific President, a new boardroom, multiple meeting rooms, dedicated offices, and a revitalised breakout area with a kitchenette.
The design incorporated Vastu Shastra principles—an ancient Hindu architectural system centred on Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Space. Most evident in the reception, a secondary corridor was introduced to align directional flow and enhance positive energy.
JDV reconfigured hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and integrated audiovisual systems, adjusted the comms room, and delivered custom joinery with precision. Despite the tight 8-week timeline, the result reflects JDV’s commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
