A business leader with a global footprint, James Catchpole has over 17 years of experience in the Australian and UK construction industries, with a focus on business operations, strategic planning, and project delivery. With a Master of Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick, James has advanced his career from site engineering roles to executive leadership positions in top-tier firms.
James most recently served as the General Manager for Built’s UK division, overseeing operations, systems, and teams across complex projects valued at up to $75 million. His project experience includes major refurbishments, structural upgrades, and commercial fit-outs in both live and new-build environments, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Tier 1 delivery expectations. Prior to this, James advanced through roles from Project Manager to Senior Design Manager at Built in Australia, contributing to high-profile projects such as the $100 million Intercontinental Hotel and the $30 million Sydney Airport T2 extension.
James joins JDV Projects, driven by a shared ethos of integrity, accountability, and hands-on leadership.
